Scott C. Daulton, CPA, CFP  
 
Scott Daulton is licensed by the State of California as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott holds the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuation where he serves on its Professional Standards Committee which establishes business valuation standards for the organization. He also holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  His areas of practice are: 
  • Accounting and auditing: audit, review, and compilation of financial statements for privately-held businesses
  • Income taxes: tax planning, preparation, and audit representation for business entities and individuals 
  • Business valuations: valuation of ownership interests in privately-held businesses for marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, and estate and gift purposes.

Scott is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in accordance with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) certification and renewal requirements.  These marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board , have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.  The CFP Board is a nonprofit regulatory organization that fosters professional standards in personal financial planning so that the public values, has access to, and benefits from competent and ethical financial planning.
 

Scott has a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
